 Scorched Food is NOT Charcoal

Charred Food made in the kitchen from such items as burned bread or scorched food is definitely not charcoal. Scorched food has been found to be cancer-producing and is not recommended. Wood charcoal does not retain harmful chemicals sometimes found in burned fats and protein (as these burn off ), nor does it have mineral residues found in bone charcoal or scorched food.

In the past, some have wondered about the effect of acids or alkalies in the gastrointestinal tract on charcoal and its adsorbed materials, questioning whether poisons might become dislodged fro the charcoal farther down and still wind up absorbed into the blood.  It has been found that charcoal forms a stable complex with toxic materials, and washing with blood plasma or gastric juice fails to bring forth the toxic material from the charcoal. It has been bound so firmly that it will not be removed by ordinary means.

Find a glass drink bottle with a large neck as to fit a teaspoon in.

the lid on till the charcoal has settled to the bottom. Screw the lid on tightly and store. You can 1shake it before use,

or 2with a straw drink the water only. For adults the best is the first and for children and babies is the second

The mixture can be added to any time. If kept sealed it can keep for years.

Activated Carbon - Charcoal paste ready to use.

Place a little water in a small sealable jar. Put  enough charcoal to make a thick paste STIR IT GENTLY OVER THE SINK

        till it becomes a paste.

Seal the jar well and store.

Ready for intake or poultice any time day or night.

If it gets dry add a little water and stir. If you accidentally add to much water add more charcoal gently, and stir.

If kept sealed it will keep for years.

HINT - always keep an old cloth handy in case of any spillage. Remember charcoal stains every thing

it touches so use with care and over the sink. A scrub will bring the sink back to it’s former glory.

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE

ACTIVATED CARBON - CHARCOAL Powder

HINT always keep an old cloth handy in case of any spillage.  CARE should be taken when mixing with water, as fine dust particles tend to fly everywhere, best to put water first then add charcoal and place a cover on loosely as to keep dust particles in the jar not all over the place!!  Remember charcoal stains every thing it touches so use with care and over the sink. A scrub will bring the sink back to it’s former glory. Do not put in anything plastic when preparing charcoal, a glass jar is best.

ALWAYS KEEP CHARCOAL IN A TIGHTLY SEALED CONTAINER.

Water must be clean rain water or filtered through a charcoal filter, to remove all chemical, organical matter….. If the water is not pure the charcoal will absorb the impurities and then the poultice will be contaminated and will not be healthy to use because the charcoal will be weakened with the toxin and chemicals extracted from the unclean water. Do not unfiltered town water.

How to Make Charcoal Poultices with Charcoal Granules

(This step is only necessary if you don’t want to stain things with the power that is among the granules.)It is used for fish filters,

First you must wash the charcoal granules to remove the charcoal powder. ALL THINGS MUST BE VERY CLEAN AS NOT TO CONTAMINATE CHARCOAL. You MUST USE container with no leaks that is NON CORROSIVE AND IT MUST RESIST  HIGH TEMPERATURE. Stainless steel or wood are best.  Normal plastic buckets will melt.  Place the charcoal in the container and put clean pure water. Water must be clean rain water or filtered through a charcoal filter, to remove all chemical, organical matter….. If the water is not pure the charcoal will absorb the impurities and then the poultice will be contaminated and will not be healthy to use because the charcoal will release the toxin.  When you put the water in DO NOT PUT YOUR HAND IN THE WATER.  Use a clean wooden stick to mix the charcoal.  The water will react and become VERY HOT. When the reaction has settled (this water can be saved and drunk) or it can be thrown away. Repeat the process two or three times.

Take a piece of thick (Use only natural fiber material.) like jeans. Cut it in to a rectangle of desired size, then fold with the underside   Facing you. Sew (2 or 3 times) around the edges about 1 cm from the edge. LEAVING A GAP OF 5-10 CM to can put the charcoal  in. Turn the bag the right side out. Put clean charcoal in the bag. You can use a funnel with a large hole or a juice bottle with  the end  cut off (make sure the bottle has a large hole.) Sew the gap by hand to close the gap well. Best to make 2 bags to can swap them while treatments. Keeping one heating while using the other.

TO USE  Steam it in a steamer till hot. This sterilizes the charcoal and activates it. Wrap in a towel if to hot and apply to area for treatment. BE CAREFUL  NOT TO BURN THE PATIENT. When cool rub area with cold cloth and reapply the hot charcoal bag. Always finish with a cold rub.

STORE your bag in a sealed container or bag as not to absorb odors and chemicals from the air.

MAKE SURE TO DRY THE POULTICE BAG FIRST.

Dry bag in a odor – chemical free area.

To sterilize between patients  steam bag for 15 minutes cool and re steam.
